By working with our instructors, all who work or have worked in the industry, participants leave with a better understanding of the broad financial services industry, technical skill requisites, career path options, and a deeper sense of individual purpose and personal motivation.

Course Curriculum

MODULE ONE: INTRODUCTION TO WALL STREET BOOTCAMP

August 25th - September 17th

  • The history of Wall Street

  • How companies raise capital

  • The economy & financial markets

  • Visit from representatives from the Federal Reserve & various panel discussions

MODULE TWO: SECURITIES INDUSTRY ESSENTIALS EXAM (SIE)

September 22nd - October 22nd

Participants will go through the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Examination Structured Study Program, sponsored by Kaplan. The material provided prepares students to take and pass the SIE. The four-week self-study portion of the program will include weekly check-in calls. The duration of each call is approximately one hour.

MODULE THREE: WALL STREET INTENSIVE

October 27th - November 12th

  • Fundamentals of Alternative Investments® (FAI)

  • Digital assets

MODULE FOUR: WALL STREET IMMERSION

November 19th - December 10th

  • Social & emotional intelligence

  • Resume presentation

Troy Prince, CEO

A Bronx native, graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and NYU Stern School of Business (BS '92). Troy is a 20 year+ wall street veteran with extensive buy & Sell side trading experience at premier US & International firms and near 5 years as an angel investor in Vietnam.

Gigs Taylor- Stephenson, CLO

Gigs Taylor-Stephenson is the National Director of Academic Staff at Kaplan Professional. She manages over 100 instructors nationwide, who facilitate classroom instruction for the insurance continuing education, insurance licensing, and securities industry product lines.
